Who doesn’t like a beach house!? Built-in the Compo area this 3900 sqft house was constructed in 2021. No basements in this neighborhood. And so many zoning regulations it can make your head spin. Height restrictions. FEMA restrictions. Engineering restrictions. Fill restrictions. Third floor finished living area sqft restrictions! Only 25 percent of your third floor can be livable. The rest of the third floor must be built with low enough head height that it is not livable. Why? No one really knows why. Even the zoning officials can’t figure out why. But we work with what we had and ended up with the most beautiful lines and open concept. Walking into the home feels like you’re on vacation far away. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows and only 4 steps to your pool outside the 18’ sliders. The beach house is one of our favorites and was a very profitable investment.
